Well, Grindcore and Crustcore are very awesome things. So why not share our most favorite Grind and Crust bands with each other...

I shall start...even if Dan and myself might end up being the only ones participating in this thread :P

let's go...

when it comes to Grindcore, one has to start out with the Godfathers...Napalm Death
http://www.myspace.com/napalmdeath
if you don't like them then your penis shall fall off and run away from you...

the awesome Nasum. Too bad Mieszko had to go...
http://www.myspace.com/nasumband

Rotten Sound...check out their Album 'Exit' if you don't know it and care the slightest bit for Grindcore.
http://www.myspace.com/rottensound

Gadget...even if Nasum is no more, there is still some crazy Grindcore coming from Seden. This is one example
http://www.myspace.com/gadgetgrindcore

Magrudergrind...pretty crazy Grindcore band from the US. Pretty cool stuff with some cool samples mixed into the songs.
http://www.myspace.com/magrudergrind

no how about some Crustcore

Skitsystem...awesome swedish Crustcore...groovy
http://www.myspace.com/skitsystemband

Wolfbrigade (the artists formerly known as Wolfpack)...guess what, they're from Sweden too
http://www.myspace.com/wolfbrigadeofficial

Disfear...and another band from Sweden with Tomas Lindberg from the awesome At the Gates doing the vox
http://www.myspace.com/disfear

there you go...now it's your turn!

But yeah, my faves have already been mentioned. Rotten Sound, Nasum and Pig Destroyer....but, Discordance Axis above all. I'll keep meditating on it. I have a grind history  ....

AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED!!!

totally forgot about them too. I highly recommend this band to anyone who enjoys extreme music. Their Album Agorapocalypse was one of my personal highlights of 2009. It's like a constant kick in the face.

another sweet Crust band that featured Mieszko from Nasum:
Genocide Superstars

An educational thread! Nice one Lars et al. Quite liking Magrudergrind?! I want to be able to make these sounds out my mouth.

When I think of crust, I will always think of you Lars.

and that is just one of the many things that make you think of me :P

some more crust

http://www.myspace.com/bombstrike

and some more grind

http://www.myspace.com/thearsonproject

picked up a CD by either band last year and it's pretty good stuff. Bombstrike don't seem to care for überpolished productions but that works in favor of this type of music, I'd say. And The Arson Project is a band that fans of Nasum should enjoy.
