it had recently been leaked online and i was wondering for those of you who have listened to it, what do you think of the new material?

Personally, i couldn't be happier. Fear Factory was my gateway to the world of metal and i am so happy to hear that familiar style that i was missing out on!
(i know that there are many who enjoy Archetype over the Dino era material, its just a matter of personal taste i guess)
the industrial textures are back in full force and they blend perfectly with the harsh guitar and drums. i must say that Burton's voice sounds more powerful than ive heard him in the last decade, also!

fave 2 tracks so far are Mechanize and Fear Campaign

Definitely a direction that would have saved them years ago. This album makes Transgression look even worse. Gene is a monster on this album, but what else is new.

Definitely dig the use of the 8 string. Burton sounds as good as ever. The electronics are so very welcome back. Definitely going to be a strong contender in 2010.

Ok i listened to it. i think its amazing. its on par with demanufacture and obsolete. its heavy as fuck and its really melodic. fast and crushing riffs and you can hear bass!
