Looks a bit like some Dimmu cheesefest. I WANT JENS SINGING TO A BIRO.
And they cut out the solo. WTF?
they used some old guy as the meditator guy on the cover
He might actually be the guy from the cover - they used a guy and a chick and merged the images so it'd look weirdly androgenous (if I remember rightly).
Anyway, I didn't mind the edit of the song, but the video pretty much sucked

If you develop an ear for sounds that are musical it is like developing an ego. You begin to refuse sounds that are not musical and that way cut yourself off from a good deal of experience. - John Cage

i dont think thats him... to me their heads are shaped quite differently
Yeah you have a point.
The bit where he opened his eyes and they were all RAWWR was pretty cool though.

It had a few very short moments that were okay. Overall I thought it sucked pretty hardcore though... it doesn't nearly do the song justice.
Are you also divergent, friend?
that was....interesting. I've seen worse though.
Song is awesome.
Video's a bit suck though. I mean...shaking camera on a shot of a clock seems a bit weak.
Slicky produced but a bit all over the shop.

gene hoglan on monday at his clinic said that fredrick originally wrote the song for he and the singer from mushroomheads project and it ended up being bleed for meshuggah instead
Does that vocalist only have a one note range?

Yes. And all lyrics are in CAPS.
Oh, there was at least one song, where he was actually singing. Kind of. That was "Ritual" off None EP, if I remember correctly. And maybe in that campfire version of "Future Breed Machine", though I'm not sure if it wasn't Tomas Haake singing.

There's a fair bit more variety in the vocals of their first album (that is still him singing on that one, right? Not a different singer?), which I actually really like. Sort of like a cross between the current shout/scream and old Hetfield-style yelling-vaguely-in-key.
