He shows you a bunch of drum stuff, I guess. I'd say anyone is free to go.

I recently put up the Gene Hoglan interview I did on Metal Obsession, hope you enjoy it.

We will also be giving away a double pass to Gene Hoglan's drum clinic in Melbourne, so stayed tuned for that in the next couple of days.

The Melbourne clinic last night was fantastic. Really mellow atmosphere and just awesome to watch Gene do his stuff.

He shared alot of great stories from his time in Death right upto SYL of course, alot of questions about Chuck and Devin and the usual assortment of drum questions.

He stayed back and signed some stuff for people which was cool, I got my photo with him along with some shots of him doing his stuff. We weren't allowed to tape anything as most of the stuff he was playing was not released yet. He said his new tech DVD will be out this year, he would have released it sooner but he got abit lazy. This is one question I forgot to ask him in the interview I did.

Really down to earth and just great to talk too.

I'll upload the photos later this afternoon.

Make sure to check out the other clinics if you can, you wont be disappointed.

Awesome BTG, I'd love to catch a clinic with the man. Did he play any old stuff or was it just unreleased material?

One guy asked if he'd do the blast beat section of Individual Thought Patterns I believe, because he wanted to know how he actually did it since it sounds so bloody fast on the album, but thats about it, the rest was unreleased stuff which he'll be releasing this year along with his tech DVD which will show everyone what he was doing last night and tonight and for the rest of the tour.
