Never really thought I would say this! I bought Songs of Faith and Devotion by Depeche Mode and I love it! It's got dark songs, epic bits, very well produced and is just awesome!

Anyone else like DM? If so, any recommendations for what DM album I should buy next?

Check it.

Yep, I'll own up. I've been a fan since the 80s... dark, brooding, melodic pop/electro. Very underrated by some, and adored by their fans.

I'd recommend the album Ultra for starters:

A couple of oldie but goldies from the album Violator:

The latter two are great, especially considering they're 17 years old.

Hey, Hog... Glad to hear you have found something new! :D

I love the Violator and Ultra... you can't go wrong with them.

Happy listening.

(I think I spelled "Violator" wrong, but the hell with it)

I didn't pay much attention to them in past years, except for "People are People" (jiggy song), mainly because I lumped them in with bands like Icehouse and New Order...little too new-wavey for me. But I have to say, they've kind of grown on me.

I'm old enough to know "Electric Blue". How's that? I can't say I ever bought any of their albums. I'm a Duranie, if you know what I mean.
