Anyone heard this? its a full on prog metal overload...the band has always been good but this album is just spectacular.

Alaska was class but this tops it i think. Colors just flows like one big song, whereas Alaska was a bit more patchy.

True. I'm not tooo familiar with Colors yet, it might overtake Alaska later. And then Alaska might overtake back, etc.


I think they're at total nerd band by the way They all look geeky! A bit boring on stage, but with a knack for technicality and very skilled at what they do.

This album is by far their best.

Amazing album, great music, one of the few bands who can really pull off the transitions to some of the parts in their songs, i.e. the jazz to country section in one song and in the last song the polka-ish section.

Yeah it's great for sure, I've only really listened to it as a whole so far so no song is particularly jumped out at me. It'll be interesting to see if they can top this. Better than Alaska for me, but no really memorable guitar solo is disappointing.

Yeh I love that too. The guitarists are really good at creating those twidly feel good melodies.

This album is fantastic!

I wasn't too big on their first 2 albums, but Alaska was a big hit with me. This album goes above and beyond, it's probably their best ever but Alaska is kind of hard to compare it to. Bottom line: one of my favs this year. This bands current lineup (the one they had for Alaska and the covers CD too) is by far their best one ever. I wasn't too keen on the first two though (unfocused songwriting it seems).

I still don't have the CD and I want it sooo baaaad!!!!

Hadn't heard of this band before. It's pretty cool. I don't really like the vocals, but the music is awesome.
