those from africa even seem to have caused some trouble. people reacted to those mails, were told some place to come to and got kidnapped or stuff like that. you better throw it in the trash.

I use to get them quite abit when I used Yahoo mail, it's just some cheap ass who doesn't want to work and is scamming people out of hard earned cash. They had an example of it on an Australia polotical satire program called "Chaser's War On Everything", one of the hosts got a e-mail from some woman in Africa asking for money, he replied back to her and fucked with there mind abit, he said he'd only send money if he could see a pic of her.

Turns out the impostor did send a picture, but it was a woman from the google image search, seems he just typed in "Afircan woman" and he picked the first pic which up. Oh man, that shit was hilarious.

Yeah, I get these scam emails all the time. Hard to believe someone would reply, really (outside of scambaiting that is). "I found your email listed online" or "Read through your profile"... I always thought stuff like that was a little vague to be believable, not to mention the rest of most of these emails.

I get 2 of these a week.
