I think it's very cool. It's basically modern arrangements of ancient native american tunes. I think it's very well done... one of the best things Patton has been apart of in a while IMO.

I like it. Doesn´t sound anything like the first two so I was suprised when I first listened to it.
But when someone reads the band name might expect it to sound like this.
Of his more recent work Peeping Tom was good, too

Some of the stuff sounds like the stuff Frank Zappa did on Apostrophé.

I really like this one, the previous two tomahawk albums never did it for me..there are some songs on those albums i like but overall i think they sound incomplete or something. But the last one is completety different form the first two, i like this one alot more.
It could easily be one of my favourite Patton albums together with Six Litanies For Heliogabus, the Fantomas self titled and the Mr Bungle Albums

I've never heard a bad record of Mike Patton to date, and this one does not break that pattern.

Can't wait to hear it. I really dug the first two Tomahawk albums and the concept sounds great.

Actually I find it to be quite boring. I try to listen to the entire record and I can't even make it past Red Fox, there is just not enough diversity for me.

Just listened to some of the songs on their myspace. I really, really like what I hear so far, it's unique-- Red Fox is my favorite of the ones I've heard so far. I'll have to see how the rest of the album holds up, though.

Much, much better than prior Tomahawk outings. I still rate this band lowest on Patton's food-chain but this one is a winner.

That's basically it. He's done some fantastic stuff for other people (his appearances on Subtle and Team Sleep's stuff is especially cool) and I tend to prefer him while he's working with other people it seems.

Whatever his latest one is, that shit is fucking golden. The sixties sounding one with strings and Italian lyrics. Can't remember what it's called but some live recordings are floating around and it's wonderful.
