I hear the "n" word bleeped out in countless radio edits of songs. It seems if its acceptable for culture to embrace the phrase and use it in a very liberal dismissive fashion i dont see why it would be unacceptable for a comedian to retaliate with it when provoked. Before anybody starts i'm not a racist and realise his course of action is wrong but i dont see why it takes on a whole new meaning when its coming from a white guy.

i think the context makes the difference, like if someone says "hey my nigger" or "i'm a nigger" then thats fair cause no-one means it to be hurtful. but he says it with VENOM he means it to hurt, to insult and to provoke an upset and shocked reaction. he did it because he was angry and meant it as an insult not a description.

I hear nigga/nigger/negro uncensored all the time here. I even heared it on Oprah once

I also think it's not the word but the context...same goes for words like 'fag' etc...the word is not what hurts people but the way it is used does...and that Kramer dude (don't even know his real name) indeed proved that he's a prick.

Watch, as a man kills whatever career he had. That was shocking to watch, and his attempts to get himself out of it were just weak.

Is he really rascist though? I personally don't think he is. At times, anger has caused me to react in a way I wouldn't normally react. I have said things that were totally uncalled for when angry, I never meant them. It's a bad reaction, especially when you can't find a way to control it.

You're probably right, but surely these days people should have enough awareness to realise that if they scream that word at somebody - it will most likely be interpreted as a racial slur.

its not all about the "N" word tho is it? the other stuff he said was just as offensive so the argument about "nigger" is kinda redundant in my opinion.

hes still a tosspot. he is/was a famous comedian type guy, and you are telling me hes not mature/experienced enough to deal with a heckler? he deserves everything he gets purely for being a temperamental loser.
