For the Aussie metalheads on the board, anyone else surprised as to how many metal tours are coming dow nhere? I'm pretty sure this is the list for the remainder of the year.

Dark Tranquility
Unearth
Lamb of God
Killswitch Engage
36 Crazyfists and Atreyu (yuck)
Ministry
Cannibal Corpse
Kreator
Nevermore
Megadeth
Arch Enemy
Soulfly
Caliban
Fear Factory
Devildriver
Black Label Society
Yngie Malmsteen
Leaves Eyes
Madball
Black Dahlia Murder

Also getting Jeff Martin again next month :D

So they're not all to me taste (in fact little of them are) but jeez its a shredder's dream come true. So which shows will you guys be attending?

It's a fantastic time through October and November. I abit bummed that im going to miss Fear Factory cos i'll be in America next month...but im sure they will be down soon enough. :P

At the moment I have my ticket for Cannibal Corpse, Nevermore and Gigantour once the tickets will be released. I didn't realise how quick Dave set the whole thing up...I thought we would have been waiting til the start of next year to see the Gigantour.

Ministry will be another great band to see, I heard the tickets are around $70 but im not fused, there awesome. 8)

There's also Avenged Sevenfold tomorrow night - that's a sellout at the Roundhouse - should kick some ass live.

Butterfly Effect in October too.

And I've just heard Tool are playing the ent cent on 24/01/07 - on top of the Big Day Out.

Didn't Tool tour the whole of Australia for the Lateralus tour back in 2002?, im sure you'll have nothing to worry about. There not the kind of band to leave everyone in the dark on the west coast. :P
