So i went and purchased a Line 6 POD XT Live pedal not too long ago. Just wondering if there are any other people here who own one and what sort of patches they use.

I'm finding that it sounds fairly good through the FX return of my cheap solid state Randall head. I'm using the Dual Recto simulator mainly and it sounds nice n heavy but it is definitely missing that real 'sparkle' you get from real amps. But hey I've spent less than hlaf the amount of money it would cost for a tube amp plus effects...
