was wondering if anyone here has evwer been to fiji, with all the stuff i have been going through since the death of my mom im thinking of going awa for a week or 2 and ive ehards some wonderful things about fiji so was wondering if anyone here went or know someone that did and can give me some info,recomendations, resorts,etc.

i went a few years ago. its a great place to just relax and enjoy yourself. the people there are nice, and not just the employees of the hotels but when you go out to the city areas, people are generally friendly. A good hotel to go to is The Naviti

even the insane have to have some downtime every once in a while...

I went when I was younger, I remember the beaches were perfect and everything was cheap as chips. I remember only staying on the cruise ship we went on which was apart of a package we bought from the travel agency...that would proberbly be the best way to get around since most of the good places are on other islands.

The only downside of our trip was a typhoon was circuling Venuatu.
