I hope it is. They really haven't done anything fresh since then, so it'd be nice for them to really put something out that really brings back some fresh ideas.

That's one of the best album covers i've ever seen! A brutal work of art!

That's definitely one of the best covers they've had since Seasons! I love it. If you go here:

http://streamos.wbr.com/qtime/wbr/slaye ... 01_700.mov

there is 40 seconds of them playing new stuff in the studio. All I can say is it's definitely Slayer. Wish they'd tell us the new album title though!

BTW, if that link doesn't work, just go to slayersaves.com and it's the most recent article there.

I just can't fuckin' wait 'till it comes out!

Anyone in the U.S. that are going to buy their single, "Cult" at Hot Topic stores? If so, can one do me a favor and buy one for me? I'll pay all expenses!

I was trying to get a Canadian associate to buy one from Hot Topic. They only have it in America though apparently.

Sucks.

I have heared "Cult" (mono version, link posted in the Blabbermouth comments section), and I am pretty disppointed. It sounds more like Bostaph-era Slayer than Lombardo-era Slayer - only with Dave's brilliant drumming on it.

If you want an album that sounds like the legit successor of Seasons In The Abyss, check out Grip Inc.'s Power Of Inner Strength or Testament's The Gathering. Judging by "Cult", this new Slayer effort won't be it. :?
