Post the average price for a gallon of gas in your area:

around $3.00 here in San Jose, CA

Doing the conversions from litres to gallons, and converting the currency

= $4.10US per gallon in Melbourne, Australia.

We produce 80% of our own, too. :roll:

€ 1,45 per liter here. That makes €5.48 per gallon, which would be like $6,50

We are paying around 94p a litre here in the UK.
Guess that equates to around £4.20 a gallon.
Very pricey.

In Italy:

4.996 € a gallon which is about 6,257 $ a gallon.

That really SUCKS.

I paid $1.30 a litre today (Australian). That's bloody rediculous!

Now would someone begin creating some alternative energy sources. I bet if the government/economy wasn't so dependent on oil we'd have a shitload of alternative energy sources by now.
