Skaters?

Just wanted to know if there are any skaters amongst us?
I have a little skate park around the corner from my house so I started skating and its quite fun (if not painful). I never skated park before, I only had a board to get around on but now a whole new world of excitement and joy (and pain) has opened up to me.
I only ate shit once tonight... Actually twice...

I don´t skate myself, but a couple of my friends do. Once we did a Jackass-style movie where in one scene I try to do pretty hard tricks and ofcourse I fail miserably and fall all the time becouse it was like the third time I had ever been on a skateboard.

Used to skate but I think it was one of those lapses of conformity I had in my early years of school
I was TERRIBLE, and eventually just stopped it altogether. The Perth Skatepark was less about skating then, more about two hundred guys forming to impress three girls kinda thing.

Jackass-style movies are fun to do although you learn your lesson when you get your front teeth slashed off by a toy sword in a public library...LIKE ME!!

Hell yeah! We actually did a halfanhour long movie with this kind of stunts/idiotism. Including hidden camera stuff too!

ive skated but only on my driveway. i was never a "skater" and all the skaters i knew were really dumb and uncool people, and i didnt want to fit in with that crowd, nor dress like that hehe. but it does look fun! id personally prefer to be a rollerblader!
but my flat feet hurt in them

I have to admit, one thing I truly dislike about skating culture is all the brand shit.
I pulled off three moves I've never done before and earned "street cred" off this wanker who laughed at me for eating shit when I first started. Anyway, I tried to drop in switch and the first time but skate board slammed me in the mouth, its a bit chipped on one end and I got stabbed a little... I did however re-attempt and triumphantly rolled away somewhat gracefully. I also manualed over this box, that was pretty sweet.

Never been on a skateboard in my life. I used to play ice/roller hockey and dabbled in a little curb grinding etc on rollerblades for a little while when I was younger...was always fun
