ANybody here familiar with his work? I'm reading 'Infinite Love is the Only Truth' at the moment and quite fascinated by his writing. I'm not familiar with his work enough to try and explain it, I'll leave that to someone else who has maybe read some more of his stuff....

If anyone's ever in the mood to read some absolutely tripped out 'consipiracy theories' on everything from government to reality to consciousness have a look... definiitely not for the close-minded but.

I used to be very very into this shit years ago... I met him, attended his seminars, read his books etc.... the only advice i can offer you on this is to ignore Icke and check out ROBERT ANTON WILSON instead. He has a far more balanced, healthy approach to the same basic premises and unlike Icke, he is a reknowned scientist. He still has much humour though!

For print, a good intro to check out would be Cosmic Trigger pt I. As for the web, please see:

http://www.rawilson.com

I would consider him to be the smartest man in the world.

:D

Big call! :D
This is pretty interesting stuff, completely off the wall, but the crazy thing as Hipocracy said, is that it just might be true. However, I do think that a lot of the stuff has some validity, as far the more government type stuff goes, not so much the alternate dimensions and what not.

Ehm ... are you guys serious? Make assasinations, not wars! And he's the balanced one?

OK. :?

I've been interested in reading some of his stuff for a while even though I feel that he is a bit of a loony.

A friend bought me his 'Tales from then time loop' for Xmas, more as a joke than anything.
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 20-7408670

I've only read the first chapter but it seems interesting if not very hard to believe but who knows! I quite liked the idea that we are limited by our five senses to how we see the world and there is an alternative world that we just can't tune into.

Didn't he think the British Royal Family where all aliens that had to eat babies to maintain their human form?

In 1999, David Icke published a book entitled The Biggest Secret, in which he wrote that the world is controlled by a race of reptilian humanoids, known in ancient times as the Babylonian Brotherhood, and that many prominent people are descended from them, including George W. Bush, Queen Elizabeth II, and Kris Kristofferson. WTF???

Hahaha yeah they're pretty loony but raise some cool points. After all, geniuses are never understood in their own time. We will never know who the geniuses are but will we?

And big LOL to Kris Kristofferson! haha

I did a philosphy class uni about this kind of thing. Theres a book called 'The problems of philosophy' by Bertrand Russell where he trys to prove this through logical argument. ie What other proof do we have that the real world exists apart from our 5 sense data? How can we prove that we arn't just brains/souls floating in space? and How can we prove that everyone is seeing/hearing etc, exactly the same things as each other? eg. Is my red the same colour as your red?
Illusions or even hallucionations could just be people perceiving things differently.

Its a similar idea behind the matrix movies, at least about sensory data. Very interesting thoughts!

Its crazy how believable some of his stuff actually is. Because when you strip away all the detail he is trying to convince us that a race of reptilian aliens in human form runs all of the power institutions in the world. Just reading that would scare you away from him forever... but still very interesting stuff.

Ive got Icke's book The Biggest Secret. Its a nice read.

And i do believe its possible that our governments are not who they claim to be. And that secret sociaties controll everything.

Icke's ideas are not new. Theres a man named Jordan Maxwell, who exposes the same thing. Jordan has been around longer than Icke even helped sponsor Icke to get exposure.

http://www.jordanmaxwell.com

Theres another interesting researcher named Micheal Tsarion who Maxwell is now sponsoring, trying to expose The Illuminati.

Theres alot of other researchers also.

I agree Robert Anton Wilson is brilliant. But i still believe Icke helps with the big picture.

Since you dont even explain why you have come to such conclusion, your thesis is far from being convincing.
