EDIT: I'm too lazy right now to explain the whole thing right now, but it comes down to paying the band an amount of money with which they can buy instruments, pay for studio recordings and stuff and thus operate without constraint from a record company or such. They did some really cool things in Phase 2, like playing a concert (and filming/recording it) in an abandoned former East-German government building, where 100 supporters were the choir. Really cool!

I've just realised my rant sounds like an advertisement.....bleh. I'll try and redeem myself with the magic words;
