They went downhill after "Mutter". I thought that "Reise Reise" was missing that something that made Rammstien special.

The best was Herzeleid i reckon. my second fav is reise reise. they are a great band. i think people listened to du hast and were just like "hmmm...no". rosenrot is a really good album too

When I was younger I used to love the Stein but as I grew older I started to find their music too simplistic and repetitve for my taste...still they have some great tunes. :)

can't say there is a bad album by them, i hate du hast and buch dich... i think rosenrot is the weakest so far but still awesome. and owners of the number 4 slot of the list of best gigs i've ever been to

Simplistic and repetitive, that's right. And perverted! I'm not too crazy about them, but it's about the only metal they'll play in my fav bar, hehe.

They really have a cool live show, too. All the fireworks and pyro, it's worth seeing it, even if you don't like their music.

they are quite repetitive but that really works fo them... as for simplistic well check out the bass line on seeman or the solo of adios both not exactly mindblowingly difficult but definately not simplistic :D

I like them quite a bit..lost interest for a few years but rediscovered them a while back. I think they got better lyrically over the years.

I'm quite a big fan, and have all the albums. My mum likes them more though!

Saw them live 3 times now, stunning always. I think Biert is right that even if you dont like the music you should still see them live. Nothing else comes close! They also change the songs quite a bit for the live forum...sometimes a bit more interesting.

I think Mutter is maybe my favourite, followed by Rosenrot. Not so sure about the others heh.

My mom discovered them back in 1997 and then they also performed in the MTV Video Music Awards or something like that when I saw them play Du Hast live. After that I purchased both their albums released by then (Herzeleid & Sehnsucht) and they kick ass still (Herzeleid is still my favorite Rammstein album). A few years later they released Live Aus Berlin and of course I bought it. We played it a lot in school, where we had a CD-player in our class, and pretty much the whole classroom liked them :) (we had 11 students).

I've bought all their releases too, except for the older singles which aren't available anymore. My mom likes their newer stuff a lot, especially Mutter, but I'm not all that keen on their newer stuff. It's nice, but it's really the Herzeleid style that entertains me more, being a fan of industrial music.
