There seem to be quite some Neurosis admirers on this board, so I expect at least some of you to have heard of Steve Von Till's solo stuff.

Some weeks ago, I downloaded one of his songs and was really overwhelmed. After giving her a little hint, I got the album If I Should Fall To The Field as a christmas present from my sister (yeah, sometimes my sister can be very cool indeed) and... Damn, what can I say? It's definitely worth being heard, so for those of you who want to know more about Von Till:

Scott Kelly, the other guitarist/singer from Neurosis, also released a solo album, but I only heard one song so far. So, for those who care... Share your thoughts

If I Should Fall To The Field is a really great Album. I love Steve's voice, one of the most chilling ones ever. And the songs To The Field and This River are great. Yup, good Album!

I totally agree. Don't know if I ever heard such a warm and deep voice before.

It's interesting to see how Steve and Scott developed their voices and became (and still become, I guess) more and more comfortable with their clean singing. Without believing in his voice and without the knowledge that he can do much more than "just" screaming, Von Till couldn't have made this album. And, of course, this also opened new doors for Neurosis during the last years and albums.

The remain stuff on this side is also incredible. I've downloaded some stuff a few month ago...and it's "a must test", IMHO. Definitively worth a listening!
