Just don't marry anyone named Blahshmahcard. It would sound kind of silly.

Seriously, what's the problem? Go where you have to go and change it. What can go wrong?

Some registry office or something. Ask your parents (I suppose you told them) where they went to register you when you were born. That's the entry you want to change. Then you'll have to change all your documents, like identity card, passport, health card etc., so you'll need to contact the institutions who issue them. I doubt it's all done automatically.
Obviously I suppose you're quite young, which raises a whole new set of questions, so ... what's the story?

If you don't mind me asking, what is your last name and why do you want to change it? Just curious.

but then again, i'm curious too, we swear to god we wont turn that into a nickname

lets just say i want to be free from my father and his side of the family, well his side for the last couple yrs have practilly consider me and my brother non exsistent(there in poland). my dad is the only one form that side here and by no means is he a good father or a father figure just by blood and the crap that he has put me my brother and my mother(parents divorced)through all these yrs im sick of it im sick of running into people we havent seen in yrs and telling me oh ur his kid and and then the jokes and put downs begin. the name also causes billing, mailing, ive lost money on rebates cause they cant spell it correctly, people add letters to it,constant misprounciation on a daily basis. im so tired of it and i want a fresh start and be free of all that mess and my father the stuff he's done is bad iand i really took a vow on the really bad stuff he's done not to speak of and i keep my vow. there are a few things i can discuss.
the worst was when i had my surgery and when they wheeled me away to go have it done my mom told me what happened after i was taken, first off he was pisss drunk very drunk, and after they took me he went "oh alright time for me to go home im bored no point to stay". he turns to my mother and asks her "
well why are u staying" ,she replied" in case he needs blood or something"
my dad replies"ur fucking stupid in staying" and yes he went home while i ahd major 5 hr surgery to remove a tumor. thats one examples in many
