Well, I sat down and really thought about it, and came up with a semi-complete Top 10 list, in rough order:

My top 10 (loosely in order, and also subject to change):

-Porcupine Tree's "Deadwing"
-dredg's "Catch Without Arms"
-Opeth's "Ghost Reveries"
-Nine Inch Nails' "With Teeth"
-Strapping Young Lad's "Alien"
-Sigur Ros' "Takk..."
-The Pineapple Thief's "10 Stories Down"
-Pelican's "The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon The Thaw"
-The Wallflowers' "Rebel, Sweetheart"
-The Mars Volta's "Frances The Mute"

And honorable mention goes to:
-Sir Milard Mulch's "How To Sell The Whole F#@!Ing Universe To Everybody... Once And For All!"

Should be noted that I got Devlab's (Devin Townsend's) "Devlab" and Roger Waters' "Ca Ira" earlier this week, so the jury is still out on those.

Alright, now post yours...let's see what I've missed this year.

Strapping Young Lad - Alien
The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute
Cog - The New Normal
Karnivool - Themata
Opeth - Ghost Reveries
System of a Down - Mesmerize/Hypnotize

I can't really think of any others I've liked as much as those one's there. Dredg, Nine Inch Nails, Chimaira, Sigur Ros, Eleventh He Reaches London all get honourable mentions.

for anyone who put meshuggah's new album i feel sorry for you, this year wasn't THAT BAD was it!? that is a very boring album, sorry just my thoughts.
