Watch my one year old eat the wrapping paper and ignore the toys. Do my best to keep him from knocking the tree over. Miss my parents and brother, who live 1,300 miles away, but otherwise enjoy my family here and make lots of new memories.

Man, it's hard not to derail this into "What's your best Christmas memory" thread or "post Christmas pictures from when you were kids" threads... though we should :D

I'm going to be working nights over Christmas, so have just had a Christmas dinner with my family. I worked last Christmas as well.

Bah humbug!

Going to spend Christmas Eve watching King Kong with the in-law side of the family, and Christmas Day will be with my side...eating, drinking, and being merry.

But I'm on vacation starting the 22nd and on through to January 2nd, so I'll be very merry indeed! :D HELLO!

Indulging.

Spinning a little Dev, some random bollocks online with friends, the almost obligatory family phoning and a fuck load of Absinthe to numb out the 473,000th use of the word Christmas by 11pm.

Oh, and roast parsnips.

What ? You asked !

Stay with the family, of course. Talk about shit... the bad things we did over the year, the good stuff... it's a time for meditation, at least for us. We really try to understand where are we failing and what can we do to make ourselves better.

I'll be spending the day with the Family - some of whom will be pleased to see me for the first time in ages...some of whom will be outraged that I am still walking the planet's surface.

Hope it is a stinking hot day. Should be interesting...

Dude... to think that we, on the southern hemisphere got the "wrong" season (summer? Christmas with summer???) and the guys on the northern one think it's so fucking weird.

We don't have the snow... but plenty of christmas (holidays :P) spirit!! 8)
