I used to play it for a couple of... weeks I guess. But it got quite monotnuous after a while so I stopped.
And I'm not tempted to start again. I'm an ICT student, so I see people sucked into that game all around me, and that's not very encouraging.

Oh I played it and I wasn't addicted. But it doesn't stay interesting, unless you ARE addicted I guess. I stopped after a couple of weeks, I was like level 23.

I'm not addicted. I bought it in August or September and I just made level 31 last night. I play maybe 6 hours a week. It's a great game, but I just have too many other things going on to get addicted to it. You know?
A guy I work with bought it the same week I did after I showed him the companion book that came with it. His main character in level 47 and has four others characters at levels in their 20s! THAT is insane! But he's a D&D kind of guy, so he likes that shit.
It's cool, though. I love the game, personally. It's the first RPG type game I've played since NES/SNES days that hasn't bored me senseless after 10 hours. This one just gets better and better.

It's a great game. I played it for a while and got my charecter to 40, was only mildly addicted, but I enjoyed it. I've put it down for a bit, fully intending on picking it up again at some point, but I want to a break.
Besides, I love Natural Selection to much to stay away from it for very long.

Not trying to steal the thread, but for all those who don't like WoW, I suggest checking Silk Road Online
It's massive, free and quite inventive

i downloaded it, the playability isn't that great and there is some lag.... but nope, indeed, there is no catch (well, at least not one open to the public
), you just go there, register, download and play it
pretty cool

I was gonna start WoW with a load of mates but i have since ditched them and i remember playing WC3 with them. *shudders* They made up tactics and required military precision.... it annoyed me greatly.
A few people i know play Guild Wars which is quite cool.
Im generally not a fan of MMORP games but wouldnt mind having a go. Im still having fun kicking ass at Halo on PC.
....and no ITS NOT A GIRLS GAME!
