i downloaded an old 1985 PBS science show off the net and about 11 minutes into the show the presenter quotes the exact same part of the poem as on the song, the only difference is that one line is cropped on the song "They melt like mist, the solid lands".

it must be the same guy, even with the effects, he sounds exactly the same, and the timing and inflection are identical.

:D

O earth, what changes hast thou seen!
There where the long street roars, hath been
The stillness of the central sea.
The hills are shadows, and they flow
From form to form, and nothing stands;
They melt like mist, the solid lands,
Like clouds they shape themselves and go.

Rad! i trip out when that happens i listen to a lot of ebm which is always full of movie/tv samples. I'll be watching something and it will be like deja vu for me until brain catches up and i realise i have actually heard it a toasand times before.

Sorry to bother, but could you be more specific? I'd love to grab that for myself.

Thx

sure the show is called "PBS.Creation.of.the.Universe", you'll need bittorrent to download it.

funny thing is, i would never had have d/l it if i knew it was 20 years old.

still it was a good show.
