while i only own 2112 and Moving Pictures, i do absolutely love Rush. they have not gotten alot of air time lately, why i dont know, but those 2 albums are very solid. im looking forward to getting Signals soon!
i have the Rush In Rio dvd and thats pretty sweet even though i have no idea what half the songs are, so if they are releasing a new one ill have to grab that too.

Rush is one of those bands that I have yet to develop a well-rounded kowledge of. I know I love the songs when they pop up on the pc shuffle. I only have Presto (which I ADORE), and Chronicles.
I made a huge mistake by deciding to skip their last tour at The Gorge. Huge. I came so close...

Oh god. I can't interject. I can't. I love diversity in music but wish to hide Rush in a hole for years and years and years so I never have to hear them again. Im sorry! I'm sorry! I just can't help it!

check out 2112 or Moving Pictures, best place to start which most people will probably agree!

If someone wants to get into Rush I'd suggest Power Windows, Hold Your Fire and Counterparts for the newer stuff....A lot of people have problems with Geddy's vocals, I agree to an extent that he sounds "different" but that's what makes Rush Rush. FOr the older stuff yes, 2112 is the CLASSIC Rush album as well as Moving Pictures.
Love him or hate him, no one can deny the amazing music and the avant guarde (sp?) sound of the band since the early 70's.
Going to see Neil Pearts drum kit here in Toronto on Tuesday BOOYAH!

I have 2112 and Moving Pictures but never really got that much into them. I guess I`ll just have to give them a spin again some day...

I've only got a Best Of, but I really like what I hear. Spirit Of Radio, Tom Sawyer, New World Man, Fly By Night all good.
Anyone else remember the episode of Futurama in which Earth was invaded by aliens and Fry had to play Space Invaders to beat them. What was he listening to while playing the game? Rush.
