Anyone got theres preordered? I'm thinking about taking the plunge and seeing if I can blag one the day it comes out here, which I believe is the 2nd of December. I'll be cycling like mad around the city trying to find one.

I REALLY can't afford it and my tv is utter shit (goldfish bowl 14 inch beaut) but I just can't resist these launches!

I'm mainly looking forward to playing PGR3 online, should be good fun. I only have a Gamecube from the previous gen because my PS2 decided to take early retirement.

I;m considering buying a used XBox when the 360 is out, and a whole bunch of old games and just have fun with it. Old XBox games still rule cuz I've never played them. And I might pull the same trick with PS2/3

Just have to get myself a TV then somehow...

it's like when we first bought a DVD, the tv couldn't support the video format and it was all black and white

I don't even have a TV. Well not one of my own and my parents are not gonna allow video games on theirs. Maybe I should find a place of my own.

Thers's a scart socket in the back so it should be fine. It's actually a fairly recent tv, just a very bad one.

I work at Best buy and we have 30/30 pre ordered and another 30 for sale to people who line up. Im thinking I might just show up to work early and take one home. either that or I'll wait a couple of months and see what kind of discount Im gonna get.

My TV likes to dull the colours periodically, the only way to cure it is to whack it on the case. I think that means it is on the way out.

Sounds like a really old Philips telly! Our old telelvision used to go dead quiet every once in a while, if you'd whack it on the top or the back, it would work again. But you had to hit it harder and harder to make it work, until I hit it so hard the screen went down, too. That's when we bought a new one.

Does anyone know what the new Xbox 360 is gonna cost, in Europe and the USA?

Sometimes the picture does go entirely, and it does require some repeated whacking to get it back!

As for the cost - as shitload probably. They new consols are often around £300.
