Varg is one of the greatest entertainers. I like his music and agree with 48% of the things i usually read about him saying. On the other wtf! varg! get out of your own ass brother.

But still: entertaining. I also agree 70% what he says and rest makes me disappointed about how come some one that smart can be also so stupid.

He's a talented musician, but I really don't see what makes him so smart. He really just makes a lot of assumptions that aren't always true and just uses big words and such just to sound smart. I've rarely actually been impressed with any arguments he's actually made.

Even if varg talks crap you have to understand he believes what he says. You're as bad as him if you would condemn him for his beliefs.

As a musician, I think Varg is fantastic. He wrote some superior black metal(even if he didn't want to call it that himself) and his ambient stuff is highly enjoyable. I have all of his album but one.

I think the thing with Varg is some people find him appealing because they are impressionable. Why do I say this? Because I was one. At one point and time I thought Varg was the coolest thing walking this earth, but as time went on I distanced myself from his beliefs and just stuck with his music. One of my friends unfortunetly hasn't done the same. I know some people just downright believe in what he says.. But I think many are just mystified by his antics and have possibly heard the wrong story. There is simply too many incorrect stories out there.

..I think that made sense... Maybe not.
