Let's imagine this folks...
You have one hour with Devin in your car and you must introduce him to new bands he don't know. What would be your choice, what would you play then?
I'm really curious to read what you guyz would come up with!

Jean Claude.

Well I did do this, in a studio instead of a car...... :) But I played Beav and The Dev the Ween, White Pepper CD and they both loved it and Dev now has the enitre Ween collection.

I dunno. Maybe Radiohead, but he's said that he loves them, so it would be a waste of time. Possibly a local hardcore band.

Probably something totally left like Aphex Twin or Square Pusher

Maybe some Psychedelic Trance or Drum and bass see if he digs it, considering he does alot of programing and electronic stuff himself :)

When I was a kid I had an uncountable amount of Jean Claude posters all over my room. Boy, I was a silly little fuck. Remember his standard pose? His real name sounds pretty funny by the way...I forgot what it is though.

Ahem...well, the Dev already knows Myrkskog so I´d tell him to check out The Amenta, Anaal Nathrakh or Behemoth. But to be honest, I´d probably be so nervous that I would puke all over him like Stan from South Park.

Edit: Oh and I would tell him to check out the latest Album from Anorexia Nervosa. They look like Drag Queens (probably because they are French :P ) but they play some great symphonic Black Metal. :D

Me too! I have no idea.

I have a feeling his musical tastes are a lot more hardcore than mine, and the other stuff I listen to he probably already knows. It would be a very quick trip.

I made a drumnbass version of one my band's songs. It has video game noises in it.

I would show Dev... hmm... ahh, Dungeon. Definitely Dungeon.

Provided he does not know them, then it's one of these:

Arcturus
Carbon 12
CMX
Ephel Duath
(Jon Spencer) Blues Explosion
Laibach
Peccatum
Rotten Sound
Scar Symmetry
The Project Hate MCMXCIX
Waltari

i really dont know, seeing as how my other favourite bands are either generally well known(fear factory, tool, radiohead, nine in nails) or not really his style of music :P

but it would probably be kmfdm

or britney spears.

Thought Industry. Maybe not "Black Umbrella" but definitely "Songs for Insects", "Mods carve the Pig", "Outer Space is just a Martini (heh!) away" and "Short Wave on a cold Day".

"Jean-Claude Camille François Van Varenberg"

As for music to show Dev....maybe Apocalyptica.
