I didn`t really know if I should include movies like Pulp and Casino, or just have like real Mafiosa films like The Godfather.... So I just included them all :) New ones and old ones.

So which do you think is the best gangster film out of these?

I chose The Untouchables. It's one of my all-time favorites. Great cast (Connery, Costner, DeNiro, Garcia), great music, cinematography, great directing (Brian DePalma). It's such a classic.

But The Godfather is hard to beat.

What about Bugsy Malone? Those splurge guns could do some serious damage.

Pulp Fiction, but Goodfellas and Godfather are damn close.

Pulp Fiction is THE movie of 90s imo

I'm not a fan of gangster films, but I would have voted had you included Bound with Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon.

Ignoring the lesbian aspect, it's actually a very good story, and I was surprised I enjoyed it. I later bought it on DVD.

I voted Godfather Part II. The way that it switches from the scenes with Deniro to Pacino is just so well made. Plus that it has one of the most haunting endings ever. It just has an amazing cast (Pacino, Duvall, Deniro, Cazale++) and needless to say, the acting is top notch, Pacino`s best performance imo.

I used to think that Part I was superior to Part II but after having seen them both several times, I found out that Part I is is a movie that is easier to like, it has so many classic scenes and not to mention Marlon Brando in one of the most influential roles ever, but Part II is a film that is harder to make, and granted, harder to like but it is a better film by the way it is directed and the way the story is presented. "The best sequel ever made".... I wholeheartedly agree.

Goodfellaz. Epic stuff, and Joe Pesci plays one of the most chillingly amusing psychopaths ever!

That's very hard. In my opinion, anything with DeNiro and/or Pesci is brilliant, Casino in particular was a great film. But, i'll have to say Scarface, because I believe that Pacino sold that character better than anyone has sold a character in any movie. And it was a huge influence on one of my favorite video games, Vice City. :)
