That's's outstanding, Turge.

Quick, someone send it to Dev...

Hey everyone, I've just bought a new PC (nothing spectacular) and have been out of the whole PC gaming thing for aaaaaaaaages (other than good ol' Civ III). I'd seriously consider playing something like WOW in my "spare" time if I had the specs for it... do I need some V8-powered 3D card to do so though?

Oh, I didn't make it, Leechmaster did :)

And no, you don't need an übermachine to play WoW, but a graphics card would help a lot. And RAM. There's a lot of graphics at the screen at one time, and a lot of information to handle. My specs are an AMD Sempron 1.7 Ghz with 384 RAM and a built-in graphics card (laptop), and I haven't had any problems playing so far exept in Iron Forge. Then again, I have yet to go on large raids...

Ah hell, you'll do fine :P

Only 384 of ram? Do you have your graphics and stuff all the way down?

Only?!?! I only have 256! What is the normal amount these days?

I can remember not so long ago upgrading from 8 to 16 and that being a huge thing.

Yeah, I've turned it all down now. I used to run it on a medium setting, and that was fine for me, but when I arrived Iron Forge I figured I had to do soemthing. :P

Nah! I've been playing Civ III for ages now and will probably be playing Civ IV for years too. I find it quite relaxing... almost like strategy-based meditation. Or something.

I love FarCry. I played it through on the hardest setting once already, then on the easiest and now again on hardest. Trigens scare the shit out of me every fucking time.
