Probably lol. The headache made me puke.

Puking is also Rock n Roll, true Hendrix-experience! 8)

Well, i dont wear ear plugs and i am paying the price. Im only 24 and i have permenant tinitus... and its the OH GOD KILL ME!!!! verson.
I seem to have a problem with one of my ears that it cannot hear the same frequency range as the other, plus both ears are more resopnsive to low frequency sounds. As a musician this means im preverbally fucked, especially when it comed to recording and mixing.

However i dont think loud music is all to blame, i have looked after my hearing i only have headphones at an acceptable volume (i can still hear the rest of the room/people talking to me) plus i dont play my hifi to loudly.

Oh well....

I went without earplugs at concerts and band practices for years. I'm sure I will regret it one day, but haven't noticed any significant damage as yet. However, I have smartened up and now wear earplugs to all metal events. It's just hard not to think about the damage being done when you're standing there subjecting yourself to 130dB of feedback...

There is going to be a whole generation of hearing-disabled people in a few years...

One of my friends (who is a really decent sound engineer) told me that volume doesnt do the main damage, it is the distortion of the sound.

I use earplugs always at rehearsals, but never on gigs. Including other bands than mine ;D
