It may be good but it really isn't anywhere near on par with Demanufacture. So I'd have to disagree with you, presentfag, and argee with your pastfag self.

Mos def...Demanufacture is indeed a pinnacle in their career and in metal music. Right place, right time. No disrespect to the album.

I still like Demanufacture better because of this, but damn...Mechanize is effin' WIN.

Just came back from their show at the Manning Bar in sydney, tonight. i gotta say that i was pleasantly surprised. it was one of the tightest gigs ive heard from them! despite some early issues with Dino's guitar connection, it was just epic. all the old classics played, as well as Power Shifter and Fear Campaign.
i wont be forgetting this show for a long time to come :)

Demanufacture will never be topped. It is a time capsule.

Yep, I'm there too. This will be my 2nd time, hope they're better than the 1st. I saw them at Rod Laver with Korn, Static X and Sunk Loto, and they were easily the worst band on the night. Burton had a bad attitude that night and they sounded apalling. I'm sure it'll be better this time. Especially with big mean Gene on the skins! (no disrespect to Ray H, he's an innovator)

Have you people downloaded the album illegally? It's not out til Feb.

Saw them last night, very loud and raw in direct contrast to their highly produced albums. Thought the Obsolete stuff worked best, but I'm probably biased towards that album, since it's my favourite of theirs. Interesting to see the way they structure their set: 2-5 song chunks of each album in a row. Haven't seen many bands do that. Good though. Really enjoyed their set alot, and what a treat to see big bad mean Gene again!

I don't blame you at all, never was a fan of them.

I think FF's rawness could be attributed to the lack of live keys perhaps?
Usually there is a live keys guy but now it's just backing tracks.
