I saw this show when it was in Vancouver and thought SOAD was really good they pulled off the songs great! Mars Volta on the other hand I never want to see again what a waste of my time!

Yeah, I guess the Mars Volta is some of what's left from the band At The Drive-In.....ATDI were majorly hyped as the "next huge thing" and were music critic darlings. I never saw the "genuis" in them. Mars Volta is the same....they just sound blaaand.

Yeah, and I think the other guys from ATDI went and formed Sparta. Personally, Mars Volta have so much potential, but they waste it on nonsense. One each album there are like 2 or 3 killer tunes, the rest is shit. And live it's one 30 minutes song of feedback and noise. It's terrible.
