Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

The benefits of being a mason is that you get to say you're a mason. My dad has masonic connections with the Metropolitan Police (which proved useful when speeding up the case when a load of my stuff got nicked), but that's only because of the people in his chapter, you're not guaranteed perks when signing up. It would be no different if my dad was a member of a fishing club basically...
All they do is do like, charity stuff. Being a mason isn't cheap either...you've got all the obligatory charity giving and all them expensive robes...

And if you want to become a mason, you need to know one who'll like, initiate you.

Yus, and I can do it 8)

My dad's trying to get me into it, as there's a women's chapter, but I'd rather join the South London Land Rover Club...

Is it like this?

It's funny, because I've lived near a Masonic lodge all my life...
And that Dream Theater has a crappy song about Freemasonry.

What if Tor Johnson AND George Steele were free masons? Would that mean if one played the other they'd be the ultra super mason?

That's the exact same thing I thought when I read the title of this thread.

That made me lol

My great uncle was a freemason... I've wanted to find out more about that for a long time now but there's no information to be found anywhere :(

To answer the funny handshake thing, there's many different gestures/hand signals/handshakes to indicate what masonic degree you are or for example "mason in distress" signals. Like this. :patrol: :P

Dan Brown has said he hopes people take more of an interest in freemansonry after reading his new book, and it's been agreed by masons that it could be a very useful recruiting tool for their luciferian kabbalist organisation.

Btw I couldn't find a thread for it but the new katatonia album's leaked, and it's AWESOME if anyone's interested :)

Given that I would rather burn out my own eyeballs with redhot pokers than read a Dan Brown book, I should be fairly safe from getting brainwashed into becoming a mason then.
