Delirium Cordia is absolutely brilliant to listen to when somewhere dark. I remember going to Iowa with my family one night to visit my brother and sister-in-law and it was dark, and on the way there I listened through that entire thing in the car, and with no lights around or anything it was surreal.

I'd also like to throw in ANYTHING from the Residents to the list.

I concur.

Also, Tool - Disgustipated (final song on Undertow).
I can feel the inner demon stirring when I listen to that one...

First song I thought of:

Neurosis - Bridges

Although I wouldn't do any justice to this song if I said it was only disturbing and nothing else. It's such an emotional experience... There aren't many songs out there that grab my soul the way this one does.

Oh, same band, different song: Sovereign

dark dark dark.

Yeah! The whole "Demon Box" album is killer! But the title track and the song "Feedtime" are just classics. Awesome band, great variety.

But anyways, the song "Demon box" has like 10 minutes of insane noise in the middle....crazy shit. The song with the old woman talking.....isn`t that the song before "Demon Box"? Not important but....

Mr. Bungle - The Bends
Dir En Grey - Obscure (try and watch the ACTUAL uncunt video)
Korn - Daddy (thats pretty fucked up but I'm not sure if he's milking it)
Pink Floyd - The Wall (some of that is pretty fucked up but maybe only because I can relate to some of it)

then there's...
Madonna - sorry but I find pop music very disturbing.

How could I have forgotten the Bends? I find Pink Cigarette to be another pretty creepy Mr. Bungle song. Another one that I've forgotten until now would be Poor Edward by Tom Waits, but that one's more depressing, but still pretty disturbing.

Pig Destroyer - Piss Angel

Seriously, you should all download it and listen to it in the dark.

And what that guy said about The great southern trendkill is absolutely spot on. I couldn't have said it better myself.
