I'd have to go with something like dj shadow its pretty safe to say dev is as much of a music fan as us so finding something he hadn't heard before or heard of before would be difficult. My first choice would actually have been Einstürzende Neubauten but as again he already said he liked them.

A cd with 1 hour of the noise of my vacuum cleaner. I recorded it because it helps me to relax.

Do the same! It works!!

I would try and play some Franz Ferdanand, or some Strokes or the Thermals. But Andrew W.K. would be me pick even though he's prbably heard of these. Ah some Krigshot.

You would only have to show him one song because the rest are the same :)

I'd be keen to show him some music from the following selections (assuming he hadn't heard it of course):

Between the Buried and Me
Sigur Ros
Crotchduster
Bury Your Dead
Boards Of Canada
Unearth
Kamelot

Maybe even some random underground hip hop.

:)

I'd let him to listen to everything done by Aborted or let him listen to a local band here called Red Letter Philosophy (they kick ass, look 'em up on the net). Just provided The Dev hasn't heard Aborted, he may very well enjoy it, for it's some of the best metal I've heard for sometime now.

I'd let him hear Ozric Tentacles...assuming he hasn't heard them already.

Something from the Pungent Effulgent or Arborescence albums most likely.

I recommend them to EVERYONE!!!

*See how I used the bold feature combined with Caps Lock to add more CREDIBILITY to my post?

:D :D :D

This is the easiest question to answer, EVER:

1) I'd re-introduce him to the wonders of Steve Perry and the boys of Journey
2) I'd ask him to do some vocals stuff with Scarve, after letting him indulge.

tee hee
