I'm a HUGE fan of Primus and I have all their records.
Great band.

I know for sure that there's a lot of Primus fan here and I'm sure that Ryan is one of them!! Tim "Herb" Alexander is one of his fav drummers (mine too).

PRIMUS SUCKS!!!

You all probably know that I'm a pretty big Primus fan by now. I've been a fan of them for around 10-12 years now, probably the majority of my life, and I still love that band. I can't wait until they release more new material. I really enjoyed Animals, and that lineup's released so much great stuff that I can't wait to hear some more. Not to say that they didn't do some good stuff with the Brain lineup though, Brown album at times is my favorite Primus release, but it's usually Sailing the Seas of Cheese.

I have "Animals Should not try to act like people" DVD. Piles of interesting stuff, prolly all of the videos, entire "Cheesy home video", lotsa live/bootleg stuff, even some recording session for radio in late '80s. Definitely recommended stuff, packed with goodness.

check out the adrian belew (frank zappa guitarist) project called 'side one'.

he got together with les from primus and danny carey from tool and made some pretty amazing, far out progressive tunes.

If you don't have it yet, Hallucinagenitics is highly reccomended. I was gonna be at that show, but my friends and I were all too stoned and realized a month later that we actually missed the show, but the DVD is nothing short of amazing.

About the new album, I haven't heard much other than preliminary words on it, so it could still be more than a year before we get it.

I LOVE both videos. They both have their own charm to them. SBP is more of a creepy type of thing while Mr. K is more up front with all of the strange things, but you don't realize unless you think about it how normal it all really is. My personal has to be John the Fisherman, just for how hilarious it really is.
