Greetings all,

Just wondering if any of you know of a good program which can convert DVD audio into mpeg files. I have afew music DVDs which I would like to convert so I can listen to them on my PC or MP3 Player.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could try this one, it's free :

Free DVD MP3 Ripper can extract audio from DVD, VCD/SVCD and MPEG (MPEG-1, MPEG-2) files into MP3 which can be played in MP3 Players

I tried the program and it didn't work. It finds the audio files, but it has a hard time ripping them. Thanks anyway, I'll keep looking.

mplayer will decode and encode just about anything that has video and/or audio (want a DVD converted into jpeg? mplayer does it. No idea how, but it does it!), try that. Might be a bit hard though as it's a command-line tool, and I don't know how availability for Windows is.
