Wait, so by saying "has become," you are implyign that you like old Opeth? And The Roundhouse Tapes, and album you insulted, consisted mostly of old Opeth songs. There is a serious hole in you logic.

Nathan likes Opeth, Dunkelheit doesn't.

Nathan wins. Case closed.

i enjoy orchid and morningrise quite a lot, and a couple of songs from blackwater park as well.

live opeth has nothing interesting for me, trying to relive their days of glory (when they had ideas) by playing old songs is just a cheap attempt to atone for the utter boredom they have unfortunately become, as i said.

where is the hole in my logic old boy?

but hey if you love their new stuff so much, by all means do enjoy it ;) im sure that horridly dull, sleep-inducing riffs and mediocre growls can be entertaining sometimes

Weird how acknowledging that someone else's taste in music may be different than yours has become a thing of the past, huh? :P

But liking Opeth is the more popular opinion here, therefore you are wrong.

Hmmm, yes clearly popularity decides what is right and wrong in the world.

working on this logic in the regular outside world Justin Timberlake is a better artist than Devin Townsend, because more people would think so.

I mean in the context of the forum, I'm the right one.

Not at all. There are no wrong opinions. And the opinion of the majority is not at all 'the right one' (whatever that means). If so, your opinion would be wrong because most people on this earth disagree.

That is the saddest story I have ever heard. Was a refund avalable? Even worse did this convert you to the ways of Hootie???

Yeah, I got a refund on that for sure. It was almost like someone had played a really good joke on me, so I appreciated it for the humour, but definitely not for the music...
