hey everyone! i stumbled across that site a few days ago and watched like ten hours of magnificient speeches since then.
it seems to be some kind of congress held yearly with a thousand participants from research and development, design, natural science etc. the talks (each is about 20 minutes long) are recorded and then uploaded over the year.
so if you are interested in widening your horizon (and i know you are ), go there and watch stuff!

Yeah, I think my nephew told me something about this TED site a while back. Interesting things.... now all I need is time to watch.

I saw a speech on there last week, about internet and creativity and recreativity and stuff... very interesting.
And I saw a speech about Spore (video game) by Will Wright. Also good stuff.
