I have seen lots of people like Mike..all i can say is stay away from people like that because they only care about themselves and just dont care if they hurt peoples feelings.

There is no shame in saying 'no' to somebody. This person is clearly not your friend, and if they want to spend time with you or want anything from you, you should not feel bad at all about saying 'no' to him.

The worst thing here is that a shitty person has made you feel bad. The chances are that they don't feel bad about what they have done at all, because they are careless and selfish.

The best thing about this is that you are clearly a caring and selfless person to tolerate this as much as you did, and to show this kind of emotion. This shows you are not a shitty person.

Which is exactly why you don't need friends like Mike!
