Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

This usually happens after work, and I'm excited and happy that the day is over, or I'm just hyper, but on the car ride home I might belt out a few tunes at the top of my lungs. So far, I haven't had any funny looks from other drivers (yet haha) but whether it be Devin or any other form of music that I really like, I just have to wail along with it. Anyone else?

I currently have to leave for work on Tuesday mornings at 5am for a 3 1/2 - 4 hour drive....so I'm pretty paranoid about falling asleep, so I just rock out all of the way there :)

Thats a long drive!!! Why do you have to drive so far? If you spend more time travelling to and from your destination each day than you spend at your destination then I wonder if it is really worth going at all.

Erm, in other news, I dont have a car...but I did hire one yesterday! I played Nailbomb while stuck on the M8. Very loud! Nailbomb was loud, not the M8. I didn't sing along but I did bang my head quite a bit.

Erm, yup.

Great topic, I'm sure anyone who owns a car has something to share here.
Myself, I have no problem singing in the vehicle, except when it comes to growling. I feel silly doing that kind of vocals while driving, even if there's no one there but me and trees and elks.
How to insulate your car from Devy vocals!? :)

I keep it quiet near the homes of the Japanese, but when I am on base, I BELT some SYL. The harsher, the better. Ohhhh yeahhhh.

I don't drive, but I am singing very loudly whenever I'm riding my bike or walking. I tend to scare people when I'm doing Shitstorm :D

Car Idol here

I need to drive a lot, usually from work to home
I am too tired to put on any music, unless the weather
is so nice, if I had a good day or something else that cheered me up.

Since I'm a girl (in case you didn't know), I can't go with
Devin's growls, so I sing a lot of backing vocals,
clean parts and my own invented female vocals on some songs

Other artists or bands I always sing to are Misfits, some J-pop female artists, Killswitch Engage, etc..
I could go on forever :D

Coming to think of it, I sing always.
Here at the store I work in, I sing
In the car going somewhere, I sing
On the bus with my headphones on, I just mumble :D

Top 5 car-along-songs today:
5. Ai Otsuka - Planetarium
4. Primus - John The Fisherman
3. Dev - Slow me Down
2. Killswitch Engage - This Is Absolution
1. Opeth - Harvest

Pretty shifty, huh?

Where I go to college, I can't bring my car (well, I could, but I'd have to pay $70-$120 a month to park it, and I don't have much use for one there, anyway). So, as I buy new albums while at college, I then take them home with me, and with the first excuse I get to go driving I belt that shit out! I'm on a short Thanksgiving break right now, so that means I'm home and driving to friends houses for the few days I can. Lately my cd player has been spinning:

Coheed & Cambria - Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Vol. 2: No World For Tomorrow
matt pond PA - Last Light
Devin Townsend - Ziltoid the Omniscient

my dad stopped driving a while ago (just got fed up with it after like 40 years of driving  ) so he sold his cars, therefore i never bothered learning how to drive. But i have a 1 hour - 1:30h bus trip from here to my university (the bus totally sucks, traffic is terrible, and by car i´d get there in like 20 minutes :P). Since it´s a bus full of people and i can´t sing/growl for shit, i usually just "sing silently" when i can´t restrain myself. Usually looking outside the window so no one can see my  faces when i yell dev´s work in mute :P

I'm there for 3 days a week, so I'm stuck in a hotel
