Does anyone remember that adventure game from 1993, Day Of The Tentacle?

There is one character, Hoagie, who is the drummer of a heavy metal band. I think he looks quite familiar, what do you think?

Don't forget the skull in his shirt (Death). Gene was in Death exactly in 1993 to 1995

Depends who the character designers are. They usually draw inspiration from actual people. For example, who ever wrote that one character is a drummer of a death metal band, one of the character designers might have thought "Death....metal band...Death!" or something And thought of Gene from Death
